N2  - Dalam mengoptimalkan kinerjanya, Kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung menggunakan pendekatan budaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di Lampung. Pendekatan budaya tersebut berupa adopsi nilai kearifan lokal Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tahapan adopsi nilai kearifan lokal dalam kinerja kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung dan menganalisis bagaimana kinerja kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung dengan adanya adopsi tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen seperti surat keputusan Kapolda Lampung terkait program unggulan Polda Lampung yang didalamnya termasuk program yang diadopsi dari nilai kearifan lokal Lampung.
Dari hasil penelitian, peneliti telah menemukan tahapan adopsi nilai kearifan lokal dalam kinerja kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung yaitu a) tahap kesadaran, yaitu Kapolda mulai sadar tentang adanya sesuatu yang baru dan sadar akan apa yang sudah ada maupun belum. b) tahap minat, yang ditandai dengan adanya kegiatan mencari keterangan tentang hal seperti nilai kearifan lokal yang diketahui oleh Kapolda. c) tahap penilaian, mulai muncul rasa menimbang-nimbang untuk kemungkinan melaksanakan adopsi tersebut sendiri. d) tahap mencoba, dimana Kapolda memulai usaha mencoba hal tersebut, dan e) tahap adopsi, dimana Kapolda sudah mempraktekkan nilai kearifan lokal pada kinerja kepolisian dengan keyakinan akan berhasil. Kemudian kinerja kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung dengan adanya adopsi tersebut dinilai cukup baik dan cukup dapat mengatasi kriminalitas di Lampung, walaupun masih terus berproses untuk dapat berkinerja dengan optimal hingga benar-benar membrantas kriminalitas di Lampung. 
Peneliti menyarankan untuk Kepolisian Daerah Provinsi Lampung dapat melakukan evaluasi dari program yang diadopsi dari nilai kearifan lokal tersebut agar terlihat hasilnya dan dapat menjadi acuan meningkatkan kinerja selanjutnya.

THE ADOPTION OF LOCAL WISDOM IN THE OPERATION OF REGIONAL POLICE LAMPUNG 

In order to optimizing its performance, regional police of Lampung used cultural approach as a problem solving in Lampung. This type of approach contains an adoption of local wisdom in Lampung. This research intend to analyze how is the performance of regional police Lampung with the presence of that adoption and describe the stages of adoption of local wisdom. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The type of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The primary data wascollected from the result of interview and observation, while the secondary data was collected from documents such as the decree of featured programs by the chief of regional police Lampung which included program that has been adopted from local wisdom of Lampung.
Based on the result of this research, the researcher has found the stages of adoption of local wisdom in the performance of regional police Lampung; a) Awareness stage, the chief of regional police started to be aware about something new and something that is already exist and not. b) Interest stage, which characterized by presence of activity of finding information about something similar like the existence of local wisdom which known by chief of regional police. c) Assessment stage, the sense of considering began to emerge for possibilty of doing the adoption by itself. d) Trying stage, which known where the chief of regional police starts to try the adoption. e) Adoption stage, where the chief of regional police has been delivering the local wisdom in the performance of regional police of Lampung with his faith to succeed. However, the performance of regional police Lampung considered good enough and quite able to decreasethe number of crimes in Lampung, although they are still working hard to optimalize the process of reducing a crime in Lampung.
Researcher encouraged regional police Lampung to evaluate the programs which have been adopted from that local wisdom to see the results and could be a reference to improve the future performance.
