abstract: ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Natar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII G dan VIII H yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest only control group. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.
