While, leverage have negative and significant influence with  effectivity ratio. So, only one hypothesis which proven. Meanwhile the results of  research to the efficiencies ratio shown that wealth, and general allocation fund  have negative influence and significant to efficiencies ratio. Leverage don’t have  negative influence to efficiency ratio. In other ways, legislative size don’t have  negative influence to the efficiency ratio of local government. In efficiency ratio  with negative influence mean better financial performance. ABSTRAK  PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK PEMERINTAH DAERAH TERHADAP  KINERJA KEUANGAN  (Studi Empiris pada Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota di Indonesia)  Oleh  MUHAMMAD BURHAN ABIDIN  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris terkait pengaruh  kekayaan pemerintah daerah, ketergantungan terhadap pusat, leverage, dan ukuran  legislatif terhadap kinerja keuangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 231 sampel pemerintah daerah  kabupaten/kota di Indonesia tahun 2015 dengan alat analisis regresi berganda  untuk menganalisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kekayaan  daerah, Dana Alokasi Umum, dan jumlah anggota DPRD tidak berpengaruh  positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap rasio efektivitas pemerintah daerah.  Sedangkan hanya leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap rasio  efektivitas pemerintah daerah. Sehingga hanya satu hipotesis yang terbukti dalam  rasio efektivitas ini. Sedangkan hasil dari penelitian dengan rasio efisiensi  menunjukkan bahwa kekayaan daerah dan Dana Alokasi Umum berpengaruh  negatif dan signifikan terhadap rasio efisiensi pemerintah daerah. Leverage tidak  berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap rasio efisiensi pemerintah daerah. Di sisi  lain, jumlah anggota DPRD tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap rasio efisiensi  pemerintah daerah. Dalam pengukuran rasio efisiensi berpengaruh negatif sama  artinya semakin baik kinerja keuangan pemerintah daerah tersebut.  Kata kunci: Kekayaan daerah, ketergantungan terhadap pusat, leverage, ukuran  legislatif, rasio efektivitas, dan rasio efisiensi.
