abstract: This research aims for knowing about the influence of community participation in
waste bank activities on the level of social welfare. Type of this research used
quantitative descriptive research by collected primary data kuesioner from the
responden. Responden in this research is the house wifes of Kelurahan Sumberejo
Sejahtera RT 17 Kemiling, Bandar Lampung amount 58 people. The technique
data analyze is using the cross table analysis, F statistic test and analyze
regression simple linier. The results of this study in cross-table analysis shows the
public participation in high waste bank activities of 95.83% and gives a high
influence also on social welfare level of 95.83%. The result of statistical analysis
of f statistic shows that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted that it can be said that
there is influence between public participation in garbage bank activity toward
social welfare level. The result of simple linear regression analysis showed that
the influence variable of public participation in the activity of garbage bank has
the value of regression coefficient of 0.266 which means having a positive effect
on the variable of social welfare level. The result of the research shows that there
is a relationship between public participation in waste bank activity to social
welfare level. This is due to the high participaton of the community in the waste
bank activities will give a high also on social welfare. It means that community
participation in waste bank activities affect to the level of social welfare.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi masyarakat dalam
kegiatan bank sampah terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan sosial. Tipe penelitian ini
menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer
yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Responden
dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Sumberejo Sejahtera
RT 17 Kemiling, Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 58 orang. Teknik analisis data
menggunakkan analisis tabel silang, uji f statistik dan regresi linier sederhana.
Hasil penelitian ini dalam analisis tabel silang menunjukan partisiasi masyarakat
dalam kegiatan bank sampah tinggi sebesar 95,83% dan memberikan pengaruh
yang tinggi juga terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan sosial sebesar 95,83%. Hasil
analisis uji f statistik menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu dapat
dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan
bank sampah terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan sosial. Hasil analisis regresi linier
sederhana menunjukan bahwa variabel pengaruh partisipasi masyarakat dalam
kegiatan bank sampah memiliki nilai koefisien regresise besar 0,266 yang artinya
memiliki pengaruh bersifat positif terhadap variabel tingkat kesejahteraan
sosialnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara partisipasi
masyarakat dalam kegiatan bank sampah terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan sosial.
Hal ini disebabkan oleh tingginya partisipasi yang dilakukan masyarakat dalam
kegiatan bank sampahakan memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi pula terhadap
kesejahtereaan sosial. Artinya, partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan bank
sampah berepngaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan sosial.
