Perbedaaan persepsi mengenai umpan balik dapat menghambat keberhasilan umpan balik yang telah diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran secara mendalam persepsi mahasiswa terhadap umpan balik dalam diskusi Problem-Based Learning. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dari angkatan 2014-2016. Pengambilan data utama melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus, sedangkan sebagai triangulasi data peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumen. Hasil Penelitian : Terdapat berbagai persepsi mahasiswa mengenai definisi, manfaat, proses pemberian dan faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi umpan balik mancakup faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan maupun pemberian umpan balik. Proses pemberian umpan balik masih bervariasi. Berdasarkan hasil triangulasi, hampir sebagian besar persepsi mahasiswa sesuai dengan persepsi dosen. Kesimpulan : Persepsi mahasiswa selaras dengan dosen dalam pengertian dan manfaat umpan balik dalam diskusi tutorial. Umpan balik sering diberikan namun kualitas nya belum cukup baik karena faktor mahasiswa, dosen dan proses umpan balik saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain dalam menunjang efektifitas umpan balik. Differences of feedback perception are potential to resist the successes of feedback that already given. This study aims to find out deeply about students' perceptions of feedback given in Problem Based Learning discussion. Methods: This research used qualitative research design with phenomenology approach. The main informant in this study consisted several students from 2014-2016 students. The main data were collected through Focus Group Discussions, while triangulation data collected through In-Depth Interview, observation and document study. Results: There are various of students? perception about the definition, benefits, process of feedback-giving and factors affecting the perception consist of feedbackaccepting and feedback-giving factors. The feedback process still varies. Based on triangulation results, almost all of students? perceptions corresponded to lecturer's perception. Conclusion: Students' perceptions are aligned with lecturers in definition and benefits of feedback in tutorial discussions. Feedback is given frequently by lecturers but the quality is not good enough because of factors from the students, lecturers and the process itself which mutually supporting each other to provide the effectiveness of feedback.
