CETAK PADA PROSES PELEBURAN SCRAPALUMUNIUM
%X Modifikasi pasir Lampung sebagai raw-material pasir cetak pada proses
peleburan scrap alumunium pada temperatur 640 ?, menghasilkan nilai dengan
bertambahnya persentase pasir pantai Maringgai dan berkurangnya persentase
pasir Tanjung Bintang, menghasilkan tingkat porositas dan kekasaran permukaan
benda coran yang sesuai dengan standar kriteria pasir cetak. Setelah dilakukan uji
porositas dan melihat bentuk permukaan dari sampel-sampel menghasilkan hasil
pasir cetak terbaik diperoleh pada komposisi 75% pasir Maringgai, 25% pasir
tanjung Bintang. Dari hasil ini, menunjukkan bahwa campuran pasir Maringgai
dan Tanjung Bintang dapat menggantikan pasir Ceper sebagai pasir cetak.

abstract

Modification sand of Lampung as raw material of printed sand at aluminum scrap
process at 640 ?temperature, yield value with increasing of Maringgai sand
beach sand and decreasing of Tanjung Bintang sand percentage, yielding
porosity level and surface roughness of casting object according to standard sand
sands criteria. After the porosity test and see the surface shape of the samples, the
best sand sand yields are obtained with the composition of 75% Maringgai sand,
25% starch sand, water and clay. From this result,it shows that Maringgai and
Tanjung Bintang sand mixes can replace Ceper sand as printed sand.
