Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 7 SMP N 1 Metro Lampung. Desain penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar ini mengikuti alur Tessmer melalui tahap preliminary dan tahap formative evaluation. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan uji kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan beliefs siswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika. Desain silabus, RPP dilakukan berdasarkan tuntunan bahan ajar. Setelah model pembelajaran ATM diterapkan, hasil validasi, tes perorangan dan kelompok kecil berada dalam kategori yang baik. Namun, beliefs siswa termasuk dalam kategori kurang efektif. Dengan penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa bahan ajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Kata kunci: Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM), pemahaman konsep matematika, beliefs siswa ABSTRACT This study aimed to develop teaching materials based on Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts and beliefs. The subjects of the study were seventh grade students of SMP N 1 Metro Lampung. This research material development research design follows the Tessmer flow through the preliminary stage and the formative evaluation stage. The research data is obtained by the ability to comprehend the concepts of mathematics and student beliefs. The results show that teaching materials based on Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) effectively improve the understanding of mathematical concepts. The syllabus design, RPP is done based on instructional guidance. Once the ATM learning model is applied, the validation results, individual tests and small groups are in good category. However, student beliefs fall into less effective categories. With the research can be seen that the teaching materials affect the ability of understanding the concept of mathematics.
