abstract: Salah satu metode peramalan data deret waktu yang sedang berkembang saat ini adalah Fuzzy Time Series. Perkembangan tersebut meliputi banyaknya algoritma-algoritma dalam fuzzy time series dan diantaranya adalah algoritma Cheng atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Fuzzy Time Series Cheng.  Proses terpenting dalam metode ini adalah membagi data dalam interval-interval.  Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan dalam menentukan banyaknya interval adalah Sturges dan Average-Based.  Metode average-based menghasilkan kelas interval yang lebih banyak dibandingkan metode Sturges.  Akibatnya, metode average-based memiliki nilai keakuratan peramalan yang lebih baik dibandingkan metode Sturges pada analisis fuzzy time series Cheng.

ABSTRACT


One of the developing methods for data forecasting is Fuzzy Time Series analysis. This developments include the number of algorithms in the fuzzy time series and among them is the Cheng algorithm or better known as Cheng Fuzzy Time Series. The most important process in this method is to partition the data in intervals. In this research, the methods used in determining the number of intervals are Sturges and Average-Based methods. The average-based method produces more interval classes than the Sturges method. As a result, the average-based method had a better forecasting accuracy value than the Sturges method in the fuzzy time series Cheng analysis.
