Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode geomagnetik yang didukung oleh data geologi lokal daerah penelitian. Batuan induk yang mendominasi di daerah penelitian adalah batuan tuff, batuan breksi dan intrusi porfiri. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat pemodelan forward dengan estimasi kedalaman metode euler deconvolution, selain itu penelitian dilakukan juga dengan menggunakan pemodelan inversi. Zona mineralisasi emas terdapat pada zona suseptibilitas tinggi berkisar 0.001 s/d 0.018 emu di kedalaman 0 s/d 1100 meter yang diduga berasosiasi dengan alterasi silisifikasi. Hasil interpretasi memperlihatkan kemenerusan zona mineralisasi emas sehingga menjadi dasar rekomendais penentuan titik pengeboran eksplorasi sebagai pertimbangan kegiatan penambangan emas di daerah penelitian. Terdapat tiga rekomendasi titik pengeboran di zona mineralisasi emas pada suseptibilitas 0.010 s/d 0.038 emu yaitu pada koordinat (772529.24, 9192535.98), (772050.693, 9192307.58), dan (772021.691, 9191818.16). Kata kunci: Mineralisasi Emas, Cijulang, Geomagnetik, Euler Deconvolution. abstract The research has identified the gold mineralization zone in District Cijulang, Mekarmukti Village, Garut Regency, West Java Province. The research was conducted using geomagnetic method supported by local geological data of research area. The dominant host rocks in the study area are tuff, breccia and porphyry intrusions. The research method is done by making forward modeling with depth estimation of euler deconvolution method, beside that research is also done by using inversion modeling. The zone of gold mineralization is found in high susceptibility zones ranging from 0.001 to 0.018 emu at depths 0 to 1100 meters allegedly associated with silicified alteration. The interpretation results show the continuity of the gold mineralization zone so that it becomes the basis for recombination of exploration drilling point determination as consideration of gold mining activities in the research area. There are three recommendation points of drilling in the zone of gold mineralization on suseptibility 0.010 to 0.038 emu that is at coordinates (772529.24, 9192535.98), (772050.693, 9192307.58), and (772021.691, 9191818.16).
