Results of this research were using double linear regression analysis method indicated that while the period of the research, age variable were not influential significantly to the frequency of consumer on buying ability at modern but influential sinificanttly at traditional markets in Bandar Lampung city. Whereas, income variable, education, average of outcome in buying ability to the market are influential significantly. Keywords : Age, Average of Outcome in Buying Ability, Education, Frequency of Buying, Income ABSTRAK ANALISIS PREFERENSI KONSUMEN DALAM BERBELANJA DI PASAR TRADISIONAL DAN MODERN DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG Oleh M. Agung Bhakti Negara Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa preferensi konsumen dalam berbelanja di pasar tradisional maupun pasar modern di Kota Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa selama periode penelitian variabel umur tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap frekuensi konsumen berbelanja ke pasar modern tetapi berpengaruh secara signifikan di pasar tradisional di Kota Bandar Lampung, sedangkan variabel pendapatan rumah tangga berpengaruh negatif signifikan dan variabel pendidikan, rata-rata jumlah pengeluaran belanja ke pasar berpengaruh positif signifikan.
