Alat ini digunakan untuk mengukur jarak tulang ekor belakang secara  otomatis sehingga memudahkan kinerja pelatih. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  Pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan alat ukur tes split  berbasis Arduino dan sensor Infrared dengan LED Display terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh  ahli materi, ahli media dan 30 peserta untuk uji sample kecil yang di uji cobakan sebanyak  dua kali pengulangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Atlet. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba  penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur tes split berbasis digital yang  telah dikembangkan ini dinyatakan valid sebagai alat ukur tes split. Hal ini dikarenakan alat  pengukuran tes split menggunakan sensor dapat lebih terkontrol dari sudut yang sulit terlihat  oleh mata.  Kata kunci : alat ukur, lcd display , microcontroller, sensor infrared.          ABSTRACT    This study aims to develop split test devices based arduino and infrared sensors with LED  Display as measuring tool that. Can provide effectiveness to trainers and athletes. This tool  is used to measure the rear tail bone automatically so as to facilitate the performance of the  coach. This research is a research development or research and development (R&D). the  development of split test device based arduino and infrared sensors with LED display were  first validated by material experts, media experts and 30 participants for a small sample test  that tested twice as many repetitions. The subjects of this study were athletes. Based on the  results of research trials and data analysis can be concluded that digital-based split test tool  that has been develop is declared valid as a split tets tool. This is because the measurement  tool of the split test using the sensor can be more controlled from the angle that is difficult to  see by the eye.
