abstract: This research was aimed to produce student’s worksheet based on Guide Inquiry and find out it’s effectiveness towards student’s mathematical communication. The research subject was grade XI students in SMAN 1 Gedongtataan Pesawaran Lampung, in academic year 2016/2017. The stages of development were research and information collecting, student’s worksheet prepartion, student’s worksheet validation, preliminary field testing and main field testing. The data of this research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs, and mathematical communication ability test. The content and media expert said that of the student’s worksheet development was valid. The result of main field testing showed that the student’s mathematical communication ability that used student worksheet based on Guide Inquiry more than student’s mathematical communication ability that didn’t use student’s worksheet. In conclusion this research that the student’s worksheet based on Guide Inquiry was effective to increase student’s mathematical communication ability.
Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD yang dikembangkan dengan Model Inquiry Terbimbing dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Gedongtataan Pesawaran Lampung, pada Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Tahapan pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil akhir pada uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis Inquiry Terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis Inquiry Terbimbing. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa LKPD berbasis inquiry terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.
