abstract: Jamur merupakan salah satu komoditi yang potensial di masa depan, mengingat permintaan pasar cukup tinggi namun produksi masih rendah. Kebutuhan jamur merang di Indonesia rata-rata 15 ton setiap harinya. Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) merupakan bahan yang digunakan sebagai media jamur merang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan karakteristik kimia (hemiselulosa, selulosa, dan lignin) terhadap penambahan pupuk NPK dan organik dengan dosis yang berbeda selama budidaya jamur merang.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2017 – Januari 2018 di Lapangan Terpadu dan Laboratorium Rekayasa Bioproses dan Pasca Panen, Jurusan Teknik Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok faktorial. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor pertama (N) adalah pupuk NPK
yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 25 gr, 50 gr, dan 75 gr. Faktor kedua (O) adalah pupuk organik yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu 5 ml, 10 ml, dan 15 ml. Masing – masing perlakuan mengalami pengulangan (P) sebanyak 3 kali sehingga didapat 27 unit percobaan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam di lanjutkan dengan uji Duncan.
Parameter yang diamati adalah hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin media TKKS sebelum dan sesudah digunakan untuk budidaya jamur merang. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara pemberian pupuk NPK dan pupuk organik sesuai dengan dosis yang diberikan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar selulosa dan hemiselulosa sedangkan pada kadar lignin tidak berpengaruh nyata. Pemberian dosis pupuk NPK 25 gr berbeda nyata terhadap pemberian dosis 50 gr dan 75 gr, sedangkan parameter lainnya tidak berbeda nyata. Susunan rak berpengaruh terhadap kadar lignin.

ABSTRACT

Mushroom is one of the potential commodities in the future, given the high market demand but the production is still low. The need of mushroom in Indonesia averages 15 tons per day. Oil palm empty bunches (OPEFB) is a material used for mushroom growth medium. This study aimed to analyze the effect of fertilizer/nutrition addition with different types and doses of OPEFB as the mushroom growth medium on the chemical characteristics (hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin) changes of the OPEFB.
The research was conducted in December – January 2018 at Laboratory of Integrated Field and Laboratory of Land and Water Resources Engineering, Department of Agricultural, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The experimental design used in this research was Randomised Complete Block (RCB) design, set in factorial arrangement. The treatments consisted of two
factors; the first factor (N), NPK fertilizer, consisted of three levels; 25 gr (N1), 50 gr (N2), and 75 gr (N3). The second factor (O), Organic fertilizer, consisted of three levels; 5 ml (O1), 10 ml (O2), and 15 ml (O3). There were three replicates (P) for each treatment combination, totaling 27 experimental units.
Parameters observed included hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin of OPEFB media before and after mushroom cultivation. The result of the analysis of variance shows that the interaction between NPK fertilizer and organic fertilizer according to the given dose has a significantly affected on the cellulose and hemicellulose levels while the lignin level did not significantly affected. The doses of NPK fertilizer 25 g was significantly different with the doses of 50 gr and 75 gr, while the other parameters were not significantly affected all parameters observed. At the lignin level the shelf group / effect is influential.
