abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi TAGANA,
kemampuan TAGANA dan integritas TAGANA terhadap peranan TAGANA
dalam penangggulangan bencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian
kombinasi (Mixed Methods) model Sequential Explanatory (kombinasi berurutan
dari kuantitatif ke kualitatif) dengan jumlah populasi sebesar 65 orang anggota
TAGANA yang tersebar di Kabupaten Pesawaran dan mengambil sampel
sebanyak 40 orang anggota TAGANA sebagai responden. Pengujian penelitian ini
menggunakan prosedur statistik yaitu uji korelasi berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara motivasi TAGANA,
kemampuan TAGANA dan integritas TAGANA terhadap peranan TAGANA
dalam penangggulangan bencana. Hubungan yang diberikan dikategorikan sedang
berdasarkan nilai koefisien R sebesar 0,554. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan
pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi TAGANA,
kemampuan TAGANA dan integritas TAGANA maka akan meningkatkan
peranan TAGANA dalam penanggulangan bencana. Namun sebaliknya, semakin
rendah motivasi TAGANA, kemampuan TAGANA dan integritas TAGANA
maka akan menurunkan peranan TAGANA dalam penanggulangan bencana.
Maka hubungan ini disebut korelasi yang positif.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation, ability and
integrity of TAGANA to the role of TAGANA in disaster management. This
study uses the Mixed Method Model combines with the Mixed Sequential
Explanatory Model (sequential combination from quantitative to qualitative) with
total populations of 65 TAGANA’s members that spread in Pesawaran District
and take samples of 40 TAGANA’s members as respondents. The examining of
this research uses statistical procedures, namely multiple correlation test.
The result shows that there is a relationship between motivation, ability and
integrity of TAGANA to the role of TAGANA in disaster management. The
relationship is categorized as moderate,due to the R coefficient value of 0.554.
Based on the result of examination and discussion, it can be concluded that the
higher level of the motivation, ability, and integrity of TAGANA will increase the
role of TAGANA in disaster management. On the other hand, decreasing of the
level in motivation, ability and integrity of TAGANA will lower down the role of
TAGANA in disaster management. Hence, this relationship is called a positive
correlation.
