TY - THES ID - eprints3448 UR - http://digilib.unila.ac.id/3448/ A1 - IIS SHOLIHAH, 1123011016 Y1 - 2014/03/19/ N2 - The purposes of this study are to describe (1) the lesson planning format in learning passive voice using blended learning method, (2) the implementation of learning, (3) the evaluation system, and (4) the increase of student?s mastery on passive voice . This study used a Classroom Action Research model conducted in three cycles for class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 in MAN 1Model Bandar Lampung academic year 2013-2014. Blended learning used for teaching passive voice were formal live face-to-face, self-paced learning, informal live face- to face and asynchronous. The research instruments are passive voice scoring guidance, questionnaire on students? responses, and observation guide to teachers? and students? activity. The results of the study show that (1) syntax of the lesson plan designed using blended learning uses printed teaching materials and takes advantage of the internet as a source of learning as well as blends some learning methods (2) Teaching English by using blended learning motivates students to be actively involved in the learning process both in group discussion and group presentation; (3) the evaluation system uses blog and e-mail ; (4) students? mastery on English passive voice increases every cycle ; cycle I (66.64), cycle II (77,42), and cycle III (82.18). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan pembelajaran kalimat pasif Bahasa Inggris dengan metode blended learning; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran ; (3) sistem evaluasi ; dan (4) peningkatan prestasi siswa terhadap penguasaan kalimat pasif Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus pada siswa kelas XI IPA 2 dan XI IPA 3 MAN 1 Model Bandar Lampung tahun 2013-2014. Blended Learning yang dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran kalimat pasif adalah formal live face-to-face, self-paced learning, informal live face- to face dan asynchronous. Instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman pensekoran kalimat pasif, angket respon siswa dan panduan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) sintak RPP dirancang menggunakan metode blended learning dengan memanfaatkan bahan ajar cetak dan internet serta menggabungkan beberapa metode pembelajaran; (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode blended learning menjadikan siswa aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan penyajian materi ; (3) sistem evaluasi menggunakan e-mail dan blog ; (4) ketuntasan belajar siswa pada penguasaan kalimat pasif pada siklus I (66,64), pada siklus II (77,42), dan pada siklus III (82,18).
