Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media audio visual dan mendeskripsikan respon siswa dalam dalam proses pembelajaran tari sigeh penguten. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah guru RA Darul Falah Purworejo dan siswa kelas pengembangan diri tari. Media audio visual adalah media yang melibatkan siswa dalam permbelajaran sejak pertemuan awal hingga akhir. Langkah-langkah yang digunakan guru adalah penggunaan media audio visual respon siswa sangat baik karena media yang membangkitkan perhatian siswa. Guru juga melakukan langkah-langkah pada penggunaan media tersebut. Kata Kunci :Media audio visual, pembelajaran tari sigeh penguten, respon siswa. ABSTRACT The problem if this research was to find out the use of multi method and responses from students in learning sigeh penguten dancing in the dancing learning in Darul Falah Islamic Kindergarted of Purworejo by using some methods including playing method, audio visual method, and demonstration method. The objective of this research was to find out the multi method descriptions; the playing audiovisual, and demonstration methods and the students? responses in the sigeh penguten learning process. This was a descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation. Data were collected from teachers of Darul Falah Islamic Kindergarten in Purworejo and dancing students. The playing, audio-visual, and demonstration method were methods that involved students in learning since the beginning to the end. Steps used by teachers were that the teachers used playing method where teachers did not apply all steps in the playing method. Students? responses were lower in this method. It was different in the audio-visual where students? responses were very good because the media attracted students? attentions. Teachers also used steps in this media. The multi method used in the sigeh penguten dance learning had succeeded and the use of audio-visual was the most effective and students liked it.
