TY - THES ID - eprints3910 UR - http://digilib.unila.ac.id/3910/ A1 - MARYATI, 0923011040 Y1 - 2014/06/30/ N2 - The purpose of this study was to improve the instruction of Pancasila and Civic Education through: (1) finding lesson plan of the cooperative learning Think Pair Share; (2) implementing the cooperative learning Think Pair Share; and (3) finding the appropriate scoring system of the cooperative learning Think Pair Share;and (4) discovering the increase of the activity and the learning achievement of the students taught through the cooperative learning Think Pair Share. The research method used was a classroom action research. The subjects were the students of VII C and VII E classes. The research was conducted in 3 cycles. The research data were collected through a written test and were analyzed through a quantitative and descriptive technique. The conclusion of the study are: (1) the lesson plan of the cooperative learning Think Pair Share was designed syntactically to propose a phenomenon, determine the choice of the theme, analyze the phenomenon, process and examine the phenomnenon, draw a conclusion, present the work, analyze and evaluate it; (2) the cooperative learning Think Pair Share can improve the students? learning activity; (3) the assessment applied was in the form of essay consisting of five items that had been verified by expert judgement; with reability of first cycle : 0,33, Second cycle : 0,23 third cycle : 0,18 (4) the improvement of the students? achievement in the first cycle in class VII C reached 65.63% and in class VII E reached 68.75. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, in class VII C was 75% AND IN vii e WAS 87.50. Finally, in the third cycle, class VII C reached 81.25% and VII E reached 90.63%. Keywords : learning activity, learning achievement, think pair share Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila Dan Kewarganegaraan dengan cara: (1) Menemukan Rencana Pelaksanaan pembelajaran pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share. (2) Menerapkan pembelajaran pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (3) Menemukan sistem penilaian yang tepat; (4) Mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIC dan VIIE. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian: (1) RPP pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share di desain dengan sintak mengajukan fenomena, menentukan pilihan tema, menganalisis fenomena, mengolah dan mengkaji fenomena, menarik kesimpulan, menyajikan hasil kerja, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi,(2) pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu diskusi kelompok, (3) penilaian menggunakan soal bentuk esai berjumlah lima soal yang telah diverifikasi oleh expert judgement dengan reabilitas siklus 1: 0,33 siklus 2 : 0,23 siklus 3 : 0,18 (4) peningkatan prestasi siswa siklus I kelas VIIC 65,63%, kelas VIIE 68,75%. Siklus II kelas VIIC 75%, kelas VIIE 87,50%. Siklus III kelas VIIC 81,25%, kelas VIIE 90,63%.
