abstract: Structural Equation Modelling is a statistical technique that is able to analyze the
pattern of simultan linear relationships between insicator variables and latent
variables. In general there are some estimation methods in SEM, in this study SEM
with Diagonally Weighted Least Square (DWLS) estimation method is used. DWLS
is an unbias estimator and complete statistic. The aim of this research is to analyze
the total effects among latent variables in the factors that affect grade point average
mathematics FMIPA UNILA students badge 2016 using DWLS estimation method.
The result shows that R2 marks Grade Point Average is affacted 89% by Teaching
Quality, Family Environment, and Learning Ethos and the rest is explained by other
factor. Using Goodness of Fit test shows that the model fits to the data.

Structural Equation Modelling adalah suatu teknik statistik yang mampu
menganalisis pola hubungan linear secara simultan antara variabel indikator dan
variabel laten. Pada umumnya terdapat beberapa metode estimasi pada metode SEM,
dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SEM dengan metode estimasi Diagonally
Weighted Least Square. DWLS merupakan penduga yang bersifat tak bias dan
statistik lengkap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh total
antar variabel laten pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi indeks prestasi kumulatif
mahasiswa jurusan matematika FMIPA UNILA angkatan 2016 menggunakan
metode estimasi DWLS. Dari hasil penelitian didapat bahwa nilai R2 Indeks Prestasi
Kumulatif dapat dijelaskan oleh Kualitas Pengajaran, Lingkungan Keluarga, dan
Etos Belajar adalah sebesar 89% dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain serta
Goodness of Fit yang baik sehingga model yang digunakan sesuai dengan data.
