abstract: Hospital care insurance is an isurance that provides health benefit for people, like
some amount of money in order to medical expenses when they are being
hospitalized. The hospital contract is a special contract that is yearly renewable. In
this study, using the Mortality Table 2011 to determine health insurance of the
premium health care whose contract are renewed and unrenewed for individual
and joint life. Based on the result, the value of premium joint life is lesser than
individual and yearly renewable premium is higher than unrenewable.

santunan kesehatan kepada seseorang berupa sejumlah uang untuk biaya
pengobatan dan perawatan bila seseorang tersebut dirawat di rumah sakit. Kontrak
asuransi kesehatan perawatan rumah sakit merupakan kontrak khusus yang
diperbaharui setiap tahun. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan Tabel Mortalitas
Indonesia 2011 untuk menentukan besar premi asuransi kesehatan perawatan
rumah sakit yang kontraknya diperbaharui dan tidak diperbaharui, baik untuk
status perorangan maupun joint life. Dari hasil yang didapat premi joint life lebih
rendah nilainya dibandingkan untuk perorangan dan premi yang kontraknya
diperbaharui lebih tinggi nilai preminya dibandingkan dengan yang tidak
diperbaharui.
