N2  - One of the equations of water wave motion is the Hirota Satsuma equation. The
Hirota Satsuma equation is a nonlinear wave motion equation which the solution
is not always able to be differentiated exactly. The purpose of this research is to
solve the Hirota Satsuma equation system by using a homotopy analysis method
(HAM). Homotopy analisis method also a free method which not observe the
bigness or smallnes about one parameter. This method extremely effective to
solve various type of the equations , homogen or non-homogen equation system.
The ? constant value that will be used is ? = ?1.

Salah satu gerak persamaan gerak gelombang perumakaan air adalah
persamaan Hirota Satsuma. Persamaan Hirota Satsuma merupakan persamaan
gerak gelombang taklinear yang solusinya tidak selalu bisa diturunkan secara
eksak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan sistem persamaan Hirota
Satsuma dengan metode analisis homotopi (HAM). Metode analisi homotopi
merupakan metode yang bebas, artinya tidak memperhatikan kecil atau besarnya
suatu parameter. Metode ini sangat efektif untuk menyelesaikan berbagai tipe
persamaan, sistem persamaan homogen atau tak homogen. Nilai konstanta ? yang
digunakan ialah ? = ?1.
