?url_ver=Z39.88-2004&rft_val_fmt=info%3Aofi%2Ffmt%3Akev%3Amtx%3Adc&rft.title=PENGARUH+PENAMBAHAN+KOMPOSISI+MgO+PADA+SiO2+TERHADAP%0D%0AKARAKTERISTIK+KOMPOSIT+MgO-SiO2+BERBASIS%0D%0ASILIKA+SEKAM+PADI&rft.creator=REZA+PAHLEPI%2C+0817041052&rft.subject=+&rft.description=ABSTRAK%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0ATelah+dilakukan+penelitian+tentang+MgO-SiO2+dari+bahan+baku+magnesium+nitrat+heksahidrat+dan+silika+sekam+padi+menggunakan+metode+sol-gel+dengan+komposisi+MgO+dan+SiO2+1%3A1%2C+1%3A2%2C+1%3A3%2C+1%3A4%2C+1%3A5%2C+dan+1%3A10.+Gel+yang+diperoleh+dari+pencampuran+sol+magnesium+oksida+dan+sol+silika+dipanaskan+pada+suhu+110+%C2%B0C+hingga+dihasilkan+serbuk+MgO-SiO2.+Sampel+selanjutnya+dipellet+dan+disintering+pada+suhu+700+oC.+Adapun+MgO-SiO2+diaplikasikan+sebagai+katalis+dan+dikarakterisasi+menggunakan+XRD%2C+SEM%2FEDS%2C+BET%2Cdan+uji+aplikasi+katalis.+Hasil+XRD+menunjukkan+struktur+pada+sampel+yang+disintering+pada+suhu+700+oC+berfasa+amorf+masih+terbentuk+fasa+magnesium+silicate+dan+silicon+oxide+sebagai+pembanding+sampel+disintering+pada+suhu+800+oC+sampel+bertranformasi+menjadi+fasa+forsterite+disertai+terbentuknya+fasa+cristobalite+dan+periclase.+Hasil+analisis+SEM+(mikrostruktur)+pada+sampel+menunjukkan+bahwa+sampel+belum+membentuk+butiran%2C+masih+terjadi+proses+aglomerasi%2C+pada+permukaan+terlihat+gumpalan+(Cluster)+yang+mengindikasikan+mikrostruktur+komposit+MgO-SiO2+berbentuk+amorf+dan+hasil+EDS+dengan+tiga+spot+menunjukkan+terdistribusi+unsur+utama+Mg%2C+Si%2C+dan+O+secara+merata+pada+semua+spot.+Hasil+BET+menunjukkan+diameter+pori+pada+proses+adsorpsi+metode+BJH+komposit+MgO-SiO2+berukuran+makropori+yaitu+141+nm%2C+sedangkan+pada+desorpsi+metode+BJH+komposit+MgO-SiO2+berukuran+mesopori+yaitu+30+nm.+Hasil+pengujian+katalis+dengan+GC-MS+menghasilkan+senyawa+utama+metil+kaproat%2C+metil+kaprilat%2C+metil+kaprat%2C+metil+laurat%2C+metil+miristat%2C+dan+metil+palmitat+sebagai+komponen+penyusun+produk+biodiesel+dari+minyak+kelapa.+Hasil+analisis+persen+konversi+dan+viskositas+pada+biodisel+menunjukkan+bahwa+dimana+semakin+banyak+komposisi+MgO+pada+silika+meningkatkan+nilai+persen+konversi+dan+menurunkan+viskositas%2C+sampel+terbaik+adalah+dengan+perbandingan+1%3A1.%0D%0AKata+kunci%3A+MgO-SiO2%2C+sekam+padi%2C+silika%2C+sol-gel%2C+XRD%2C+SEM%2FEDS%2C+BET%2C+dan+uji%0D%0Aaplikasi%0D%0A%0D%0AABSTRACT%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AIn+this+study%2C+a+series+of+MgO-SiO2+with+the+ratio+of+MgO+to+SiO2+of+1%3A1%2C+1%3A2%2C+1%3A3%2C+1%3A4%2C+1%3A5%2C+and+1%3A+10+was+synthesized+from+magnesium+nitrate+hexahydrate+and+rice+husk+silica+using+sol-gel+method.+The+composite+was+prepared+by+mixing+magnesium+nitrate+hexahydrate+solution+and+silica+sol.+The+gel+produced+was+dried+at+110+%C2%B0C+to+produce+MgO-SiO2+powder%2C+and+subsequently+sintered+at+700+%C2%B0C+for+characterization+using+XRD%2C+SEM%2FEDS%2C+BET%2C+and+test+applications+catalyst.+The+result+of+XRD+characterization+showed+that+the+structure+of+the+sample+at+a+temperature+of+700+oC+was+sintered+amorphous+phase+is+formed+magnesium+silicate+and+silicon+oxide+as+the+comparison+sample+at+a+temperature+of+800+oC+was+sintered+sample+transformed+into+phase+with+the+formation+of+forsterite%2C+periclase+and+cristobalite+phase.+The+results+of+SEM+analysis+(microstructure)+on+the+samples+showed+that+the+samples+has+not+formed+granules%2C+is+a+process+of+agglomeration%2C+the+visible+surface+of+the+granular+(Cluster)+composite+microstructure+was+indicated+by+MgO-SiO2+amorphous+shape+and+EDS+results+showed+three+spots+distributed+main+elements+Mg%2C+Si%2C+and+O+evenly+on+all+spots.+BET+results+showed+adsorption+diameter+pore+at+the+BJH+method+MgO-SiO2+composite+macropore+size+is+141+nm%2C+whereas+the+BJH+desorption+method+sized+of+composite+MgO-SiO2+mesoporous+is+30+nm.+Test+results+with+GC-MS+catalyst+produces+methyl+caproic+main+compound%2C+methyl+caprylate%2C+methyl+caprate%2C+methyl+laurate%2C+methyl+myristate+and+methyl+palmitate+as+constituent+components+of+biodiesel+from+palm+oil.+The+results+of+the+analysis+of+percent+conversion+and+viscosity+in+biodiesel+showed%2C+where+a+growing+number+of+composition+MgO+on+silica+increases+value+of+percent+conversion+and+decrease+the+value+of+viscosity%2C+the+best+sample+is+1%3A1.%0D%0AKey+words%3A+MgO-SiO2%2C+rice+husk%2C+silica%2C+sol-gel%2C+XRD%2C+SEM%2C+BET%2C+test%0D%0Aapplications+catalyst.&rft.publisher=FAKULTAS+MIPA&rft.date=2013-04-08&rft.type=Skripsi&rft.type=NonPeerReviewed&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.ac.id%2F5634%2F1%2Fa.%2520COVER.pdf&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.ac.id%2F5634%2F2%2Fhal%2520i-xiii.pdf&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.ac.id%2F5634%2F3%2Fl.%2520DAFTAR%2520ISI.pdf&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.ac.id%2F5634%2F4%2Fm.%2520DAFTAR%2520TABEL%2520%2526%2520GAMBAR.pdf&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.ac.id%2F5634%2F5%2Fo.%2520BAB%25201.pdf&rft.format=text&rft.identifier=http%3A%2F%2Fdigilib.unila.
