abstract: By considering the rate of population growth and the availability of water, it is
necessary to strive to provide alternative sources of clean water to meet the needs of
the community. Utilization of underground water is one of the right alternatives, to
utilize underground water, proper information is needed regarding the quality,
quantity, distribution pattern and maximum discharge that can be taken. Geophysical
methods are an alternative to find out information below the surface and recommend
the presence of groundwater aquifers. The geophysical method used in this study is
the geoelectric method and the well logging method. The location in this study is in
the East Lampung district. The correlation between the results of modeling the
geoelectric method and the well logging aims to obtain a detailed zone of deep
groundwater aquifer, surface aquifer zone and thickness of each measurement point.
Based on the correlation of geoelectric and well logging methods, eastern Lampung
area is dominated by rock lithology in the form of clay stone, clay sandstone,
sandstone clay, hollow basalt stone and sandstone, groundwater aquifer zone is
located in sandstone lithology and hollow basalt stone.

Dengan mempertimbangkan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan ketersediaan air, perlu
diupayakan penyediaan alternatif sumber air bersih untuk memenuhi kebutuhan
masyarakat. Pemanfaatan air bawah tanah merupakan salah satu alternatif yang tepat,
untuk memanfaatkan air bawah tanah tersebut diperlukan informasi yang tepat
mengenai kualitas,kuantitas,pola penyebaran serta debit maksimum yang boleh
diambil. Metode geofisika merupakan alternatif untuk mengetahui informasi bawah
permukaan serta merekomendasikan keberadaan akuifer air tanah. Metode geofisika
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode geolistrik dan metode well
logging. Lokasi pada penelitian ini berada pada kabupaten Lampung Timur. Korelasi
antara hasil pemodelan metode geolistrik dan well logging bertujuan agar diperoleh
secara rinci zona akuifer air tanah dalam, zona akuifer permukaan dan ketebalan
masing-masing titik pengukuran. Berdasarkan korelasi metode geolistrik dan well
logging daerah lampung timur didominasi oleh litologi batuan berupa batu lempung,
batu pasir lempungan, batu lempung pasiran, batu basal berongga dan batu pasir, zona
akuifer air tanah berada pada litologi batu pasir dan batu basal berongga.. Kata kunci : akuifer, log, kontruksi sumu
