Metode yang digunakan adalah komparatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Pelindung. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode sampling jenuh, yaitu sebanyak 45 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan tes. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model PnP dibandingkan dengan model CRH, (2) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model PnP lebih tinggi dibandingkan CRH pada minat belajar tinggi, (3) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan model PnP lebih rendah dibandingkan CRH pada minat belajar rendah, (4) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar. Kata kunci: Course Review Horay, Hasil Belajar, Minat Belajar Siswa, Picture and Picture The aim of this study was to determine the comparison of students? achievement of social studies using Picture and Picture and Course Review Horay model consider to the students? learning interest. This study used comparative method with experimental approach. The population of this study was all the eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Pelindung. The researcher used saturation sampling in determining the sample, the total number of students was 45 students. The data collection used are observation, questionnaire, and test. Based on the results of the research obtained as follows: (1) There is difference of students? achievement between students who have taught by using PnP model and the students who have taught by using CRH model. (2) The mean score of students? achievement using PnP model was higher than CRH model in students who have high learning interest. (3) The mean score of students? achievement using PnP model was lower than CRH model in students who have low learning interest.
