N2  - Computer networks turn out to be one of the primary needs in life in this era of 
the  globalization.  Computer  networks  are  often  used  simultaneously  at  certain 
times  so  that  it  can  cause  overload  of  bandwidth  on  the  computer  network. 
Overloaded bandwidth can cause disturbances such as networks that feel slower 
than  usual,  thus  preventing  workers  from  sending  and  downloading  data  with  a 
computer  network.  This  study  discusses  the  merger  of  two  service  provider 
internet connections that is done by load balancing techniques using the equal cost 
multipath  method.  The  stages  that  will  be  carried  out  are  analysis,  design, 
simulation  or  prototyping,  implementation,  monitoring,  and  management.  The 
results of the implementation  of the application of load balancing techniques with 
the equal cost multipath method get an increase in the QoS value which can be 
seen  from  the  test  parameters  performed  in  the  same  time,  namely  the  average 
throughput  on  all  computers  has  increased  0.17%,  the  average  delay  for  all 
computers has a decrease in quality of 0.9 milliseconds, the average jitter of all 
computers has increased the quality of 0.68 milliseconds, and the average packet 
loss  in  all  computers  experienced  a  0.58%  quality  improvement.  In  addition  to 
getting improvements to the QoS results the configuration of this study was made 
easier with the help of the web configuration made.

Jaringan komputer berubah menjadi salah satu kebutuhan primer dalam kehidupan 
pada  era  globalisasi  ini.  Jaringan  komputer  sering  kali  digunakan  secara 
bersamaan  pada  waktu  tertentu  sehingga  dapat  menimbulkan  kelebihan  beban 
bandwidth  pada  jaringan  komputer  tersebut.  Kelebihan  beban  bandwidth  dapat 
menyebabkan  gangguan  seperti  jaringan  yang  terasa  lebih  lambat  dari  biasanya 
sehingga menghambat pekerjaan mengirim dan mengunduh data dengan jaringan 
komputer.  Penelitian  ini  membahas  penggabungan  dua  koneksi  internet  service 
provider  yang  dilakukan  dengan  teknik  load  balancing  menggunakan  metode 
equal  cost  multi  path.  Tahapan-tahapan  yang  akan  dilakukan  yaitu  analysis, 
design,  simulation  atau  prototyping,  implementation,  monitoring,  dan 
management.  Hasil  implementasi  dari  penerapan  teknik  load  balancing  dengan 
metode  equal  cost  multi  path  mendapatkan  peningkatan  dalam  nilai  QoS  yang 
dapat  dilihat  dari  pengujian  parameter  yang  dilakukan  dalam  waktu  yang  sama 
yaitu  rata-rata  throughput  pada seluruh komputer  mengalami peningkatan  0,17%, 
rata-rata  delay  pada  seluruh  komputer  mengalami  penurunan  kualitas  0,9
milisecond,  rata-rata  jitter  seluruh komputer mengalami peningkatan kualitas 0,68
milisecond,  dan  rata-rata  packet  loss  pada  seluruh  komputer  mengalami 
peningkatan  kualitas  0,58%.  Selain  mendapatkan  peningkatan  pada  hasil  QoS 
konfigurasi dari penelitian ini dipermudah dengan bantuan  web  konfigurasi yang 
dibuat.
