Cabai merupakan  komuditas  penting  dalam  perekonomian Indonesia. Harganya
yang  selalu  fluktuatif membuat  cabai sering menyumbang  inflasi  bagi
perekonomian nasional. Kenaikan harga cabai disebabkan oleh permintaan  yang
tinggi  dan  tingkat  produksi  di  petani  cabai  rendah. Timbulnya  suatu  penyakit
dapat menyebabkan produksi cabai menurun atau gagal panen petani cabai. Dalam
mengatasi tanaman cabai yang terkena penyakit, penyakit perlu di diagnosa sedini
mungkin. Untuk mempermudah petani mendeteksi penyakit tanaman cabai perlu
dirancang sistem pakar  tanaman  cabai dengan menggunakan  android. Penyakit
tanaman cabai akan diagnosa oleh sistem dengan memasukkan gejala-gejala yang
dimiliki  oleh  tanaman.  Sistem Identifikasi  Penyakit  Tanaman  Cabai  direncang
berbasis  Android.  Ponsel  Android  digunakan  sebagai  perangkat untuk
memasukkan  gejala-gejala  yang  dimiliki  tanaman  cabai.  Sistem mengelola
gejala-gejala  yang  sudah  dipilih  dan  menampilkan  diagnose  penyakit  dan  cara
penanggulangannya. Sistem dirancang dengan menggunakan  metode Simpple
Additive  Weighting (SAW) dan  pengujian dengan menggunakan  metode
Blackbox. Pengujian dengan metode Black Box dapat menunjukkan bahwa sistem
ini dapat mendiagnosa penyakit tanaman cabai

Chili  is  an  important  commodity  in  Indoneisa’s  economy.  The  fluctuating  price
making  chili  contributes  inflation for  national  economy.  Chili’s  price  increased
because  of  demand  in  high  level  and  production of  chili in  low  level. The
emergence  of  disease  causes  production  of  chili  decreasing  causes  by  failed
harvests by farmer. To fixing the chili that affected by disease, the disease needs
to diagnosed as soon as possible. To diagnosing the disease as soon as possible
needed a chili expert system using android. Chili’s disease will indentificated by
inputting  the  symptoms  which  owned  by  the  plan.  Expert  system  of chili  plant
disease identification design based Android. Android Mobile is used as a device
to  insert  the  symptoms  which  owned  by  the  plant.  The  system  will  manage  the
symptoms that have been selected and show the diagnoses of the disease and how
to  handle the  disease.  This  system  was  designed  using  the  Simple  Additive
Weighting  (SAW)  method  and  testing  using  Blackbox  method. Testing  using
Blackbox method to show the system is able to identifying the diseas of chili plant
