The research is quasy experiment wih pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection methods that used are questionare, test, and documentation. While the data analysts that used are Mann Whitney Test for different test and influence test iii and Effect Size Test for influence measurement. Results of the research indicated that (1) there isn't difference pretest of learning motivation between experiment class and control class, (2) there isn't difference pretest of learning outcomes between experiment class and control class, (3) there is difference of learning motivation posttest between experiment class and control class, (4) there is difference of learning outcomes posttest between experiment class and control class, (5) there is influnce of Talking Chips model toward geography learning motivation of 10th grade students at Senior State High School 1 Belitang, and (6) there is influnce of Talking Chips model toward geography learning outcomes of 10th grade students at Senior State High School 1 Belitang Key Words: Talking Chips Model, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)perbedaan pretest motivasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, (2)perbedaan pretest hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, (3)perbedaan posttest motivasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, (4)perbedaan posttest hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, (5) pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Chips terhadap motivasi belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Belitang, dan (6) pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Chips terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Belitang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy experiment (eksperimen semu) dengan design pre-test post-test control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sementara analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Mann Whitney untuk uji beda dan uji pengaruh. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan pretest motivasi belajar geografi siswa antara kelas kontrol v dan kelas eksperimen, (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan pretest hasil belajar geografi siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (3) terdapat perbedaan posttest motivasi belajar geografi siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (4) terdapat perbedaan posttest hasil belajar geografi siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (5) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Chips terhadap motivasi belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Belitang, dan (6) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Talking Chips terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Belitang.
