This study aims to analyze (1) The effect of learning interests through discovery learning model of the students geography learning outcomes of X class at SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (2) The effect of learning activities through discovery learning model of the students geography learning outcomes of X class at SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (3) The effect of interests and learning activities through discovery learning model of the students? geography learning outcomes of X class at SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (4) The differences between the students geography learning outcomes of X class at SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan by using discovery learning model and using lecture method. The sample in this study were 60 students of X IPS class. The method that used in this research was the experimental method. The results of the study showed that (1) There was an effect of learning interests through discovery learning model of the students geography learning outcomes. (2) There was an effect of learning activities through discovery learning model of the students? geography learning outcomes. (3) There was an effect of learning interests and learning activities through discovery learning model of the students geography learning outcomes. (4) There were differences between geography learning outcomes of the students who used the discovery learning model and used lecture method of X class at SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan where the average value of learning outcomes obtained in the experimental class was higher than the average value of learning outcomes in the control class. Keywords: learning interests, learning activities, learning outcomes Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagain besar nilai siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi masih dibawah kriteria ketuntasan minimum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) Pengaruh minat belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (2) Pengaruh aktivitas belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (3) Pengaruh minat dan aktivitas belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan (4) Perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan yang menggunakan model discovery learning dengan yang menggunakan motode ceramah. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa kelas X IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Ada pengaruh minat belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa. (2) Ada pengaruh aktivitas belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa. (3) Ada pengaruh minat belajar dan aktivitas belajar melalui model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa. (4) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi siswa yang menggunakan model discovery learning dengan yang menggunakan metode ceramah di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan yang dimana rata-rata nilai hasil belajar yang diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol.
