description: Latar Belakang: Menurut data WHO, angka kejadian gangguan muskuloskeletal  diperkirakan mencapai 60% dari semua penyakit akibat kerja. Strategi yang dapat  dilakukan untuk mengatasi gangguan muskuloskeletal diantaranya dengan latihan  peregangan, yang dapat melenturkan atau merelaksasikan, meningkatkan  elastisitas, dan memperoleh kenyamanan pada otot.  Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan peregangan terhadap gangguan  muskuloskeletal pada pekerja visual display terminal di Sekretariat DPRD  Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.  Metode: Penelitiam ini menggunakan metode quassy experimental dengan  pendekatan pre dan posttest control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan 50  sampel yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu 25 responden untuk kelompok  kontrol yang tidak diberikan latihan peregangan dan 25 responden untuk  kelompok perlakuan yang diberikan latihan peregangan selama 14 hari kerja. Pada  masing-masing kelompok dilakukan penilaian gangguan muskuloskeletal sebelum  dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Data diuji dengan uji Mann Whitney untuk  mengetahui perbedaan masing-masing kelompok, dilanjutkan dengan uji  Wilcoxon, dengan nilai α = 0,005.  Hasil: Penilaian awal gangguan muskuloskeletal sebelum dilakukan latihan  peregangan pada kelompok perlakuan didapatkan sebagian besar dengan keluhan  sedang dan pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan sebagian besar dengan keluhan  ringan. Penilaian akhir gangguan muskuloskeletal pada kelompok perlakuan dan  kelompok kontrol didapatkan sebagaian besar dengan keluhan ringan. Analisis  data dengan uji statistik didapatkan hasil terdapat perbedaan keluhan gangguan  muskuloskeletal pada kelompok perlakuan dengan nilai p= 0,000.  Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh latihan peregangan terhadap gangguan  muskuloskeletal pada pekerja visual display terminal di Sekretariat DPRD  Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.  Kata Kunci: gangguan muskuloskeletal, latihan peregangan    Background: According to WHO, the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders  estimated to reach 60% of all occupational diseases. Strategies that could reduces  musculoskeletal disorders are preventive measures such as exercises, by doing  stretching exercises it could relaxed, increase elasticity, and gain comfort in the  muscles.  Purpose: To determine the influences of stretching exercises toward  musculoskeletal disorders in visual display terminal workers at Secretariat DPRD  Lampung Tengah.  Method: This study used quassy experimental method with pre and posttest  control group design. This study used 50 samples divided into 2 groups, 25  respondent for the controls group that were not given stretching exercises and the  25 respondent for the intervention group was given stretching exercises for 14  working days. In each group a musculoskeletal disorder was assessed before and  after intervention. Data were tested by the Mann Whitney test to determine the  differences in each group, followed by the Wilcoxon test with value of α = 0,005.  Result: The initial assessment of musculoskeletal disorders before given  stretching exercises in the intervention group found that most complaints were  moderate and in the control group were found with mild complaints. The final  assessment of musculoskeletal disorders in the treatment group and the control  group was mostly obtained with mild complaints. Analysis data with statistical  tests found that there were differences in complaints of musculoskeletal disorders  in the intervention group with p value = 0,000.  Conclusion: There are the influences of stretching exercises toward  musculoskeletal disorders in visual display terminal workers at Secretariat DPRD  Lampung Tengah.
