N2  - The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning motivation
through group counseling services in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 27
Bandar Lampung. The problem with this research is low learning motivation. This
study uses a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design.
Research subjects were 6 students who had low motivation to learn. Data
collection techniques using a scale of learning motivation. The results of data
analysis with the Wilcoxon test, z count = -2,205 <z table = 1,645, then Ho is
rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that the client centered group
approach counseling service can increase learning motivation in grade VIII
students of SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar melalui
layanan konseling kelompok pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Bandar
Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Masalah penelitian ini adalah motivasi
belajar yang rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental
dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 siswa
yang memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data
menggunakan skala motivasi belajar. Hasil analisis data dengan uji Wilcoxon, z
hitung = -2.205 < z tabel = 1,645, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.
Kesimpulannya adalah layanan konseling kelompok dapat meningkatkan motivasi
belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung.
