N2  - Fenomena radikalisme seringkali disandarkan dengan paham keagamaan yang sebetulnya
berdiri sendiri, faktor sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan, politik bahkan pendidikanpun ikut andil
dalam memengaruhi radikalisme agama, termasuk salah satunya persoalan penangkapan
terduga jaringan paham radikalisme di Lampung. Permasalahan tersebut diteliti dengan proses
pengumpulan data secara dokumentatif dan wawancara dengan pihak kesbangpol. Berdasrakan
hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut; (1) Peran sebagai Suatu Kebijakan, berupa
transfer pengetahuan yang baik dan benar; (2) Peran sebagai Strategi terdiri berupa strategi
Pengembangan Wawasan Kebangsaan dan meminimalisir kesenjangan sosial serta
penguatan peran masyarakat; (3) Peran sebagai Alat Komunikasi berupa menyaring informasi
yang tepat, ikut aktif mensosialisasikan bahaya dan dampak dari radikalisme dan terorisme.
Untuk selanjutnya disarankan upaya peningkatan pelaksanaan peran badan Kesbangpol
Kabupaten Way Kanan, berupa; (1) Peningkatan Peran sebagai Alat Komunikasi Badan
Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kabupaten Way Kanan khususnya dalam menyaring informasi
yang tepat dan ikut aktif mensosialisasikan bahaya dan dampak dari radikalisme dan
terorisme; dan (2) Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kabupaten Way Kanan perlu
meningkatkan peran dalam menjaga silaturahmi diantara kelompok-kelompok masyarakat
sehingga dapat memperkuat persatuan dan kesatuan; dan (3) Selain itu upaya yang dapat
dilakukan adalah memperbanyak kegiatan bersama antara kelompok-kelompok soaial
keagamaan di masyarakat, sehingga tercipta kerukunan dan kebersamaan menuju
perdamaian.

Radicalism is an understanding or flow that requires social and political change,
by using acts of violence as a stepping stone to justify their beliefs that are
considered true. The issue of radicalism has become a discourse that has been
interesting in the public domain lately due to the massive radical movement in
Indonesia which is marked by the emergence of several sects, sects and new
groups in the name of Islam. This phenomenon then becomes the reason for the
need for more roles from the Regional Government in preventing radicalism in
community organizations. One of the concerns is the prevention of radicalism
movements in the Way Kanan Regency region. This condition is related to the
proliferation of issues and practices of radicalism in society, some of the main
issues that are related include: (1) Low sense of solidarity and social ties in
society; (2) The majority of the Way Kanan Regency community is Lampung and
Muslim, although religious and community life in the Way Kanan district is quite
harmonious, but there is still a certain level of fanaticism that can break the unity
and unity of the nation in the community; and (3) The low understanding of the
noble values of national culture so that frequent occurrences of friction / conflict
between ethnic groups and religions in the community. The results of this study
indicate that the Way Kanan District and Political Unity Agency has carried out
its role as a policy. The role as a policy in question is in the form of a strategy to
increase the transfer of good and right knowledge, and to complete understanding
believed to be able to disentangle public awareness. However, practically the
implementation of the role as a policy is still very limited in quantity and
intensity. Strengthening and expansion of policies still need to be accompanied by
adequate funding.
