abstract: Erosi merupakan peristiwa alam yang berdampak pada terjadinya kerusakan
lingkungan. Dampak kerusakan lingkungan akibat erosi terjadi pada wilayah yang
terkena erosi ataupun wilayah hilirnya, salah satu dampak erosi terhadap wilayah
yang terkena erosi adalah menurunnya produksi tanaman pertanian yang
diakibatkan hilangnya lapisan tanah yang terbawa ketempat lain akibat proses
erosi, sedangkan dampak erosi terhadap wilayah hilirnya adalah pendangkalan
pada badan-badan air sehingga meningkatkan frekuensi banjir. Salah satu cara
untuk menangani erosi adalah dengan menggunakan metode pendugaan. Metode
pendugaan digunakan untuk menduga besarnya tanah yang hilang akibat erosi dan
sebagai alat bantu untuk perencanaan konservasi pada suatu areal. Metode
Universal Soill Loss Equation (USLE) merupakan metode parametrik yang
digunakan dalam pendugaan erosi. Penerapan metode USLE dalam pendugaan
erosi saat ini sering dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi microsoft excel,
penggunaan microsoft excel mempunyai kelemahan apabila pendugaan erosi
dilakukan dilapangan. Untuk memudahkan pendugaan erosi dilapangan peneliti
membangun sebuah aplikasi android yang dapat mengimplementasikan metode
USLE sehingga dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pendugaan erosi dimana saja.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi berhasil dibangun dan dapat digunakan
untuk menghitung nilai tanah hilang, meklasifikasikan indeks bahaya erosi, dan
merekomendasikan penggunaan lahan. Aplikasi juga telah diuji dengan cara
membandingkan nilai erosi menggunakan cara manual dan nilai erosi
menggunakan aplikasi dengan presentase keberhasilan mencapai 99,87%.
Berdasarkan presentase tersebut aplikasi masuk dalam kategori dapat digunakan.

planning in the area. The Universal Soill Loss Equation (USLE) method is a
parametric method used in estimating erosion. The implementation of the USLE
method in estimating erosion is often done using Microsoft Excel applications,
The use of Microsoft Excel has a weakness if the estimation of erosion is done in
the field. To facilitate the estimation of erosion in the field researchers built an
android application that can implement the USLE method so that it can be used to
estimate erosion anywhere. The results of this research are that the application
was successfully built and can be used to calculate the value of lost soil, classify
the erosion hazard index, and recommend land use. The application has also been
tested by comparing the value of erosion using the manual method and the value
of erosion using the application with a success percentage reaching 99.87%.
Based on this percentage applications included in the category can be used.
