abstract: Latar Belakang: Kadar asam urat yang berlebihan dalam tubuh dapat
meningkatkan risiko hiperurisemia. Pembentukan asam urat dimulai dari sintesis
purin yang menghasilkan inosine, adenine dan guanine monophospat yang akan
terdegradasi menjadi asam urat. Kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) mengandung
purin yang jika dikonsumsi berlebihan dapat meningkatkan kadar asam urat darah.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan rerata kadar
asam urat darah tikus yang diberi kacang tanah dosis 1gr/200grBB, 2gr/200grBB,
4gr/200grBB dan yang tidak diberi kacang tanah. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan post test
control group design. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan 28 ekor tikus yang dibagi
dalam 4 kelompok yaitu K1 yang hanya diberi pakan standar, P1 yang diberi kacang
tanah 1gr/200grBB, P2 yang diberikan kacang tanah 2gr/200grBB dan P3 yang
diberikan kacang tanah 4gr/200grBB tiap hari selama 28 hari. Kemudian dilakukan
pengukuran kadar asam urat darah tikus.
Hasil: Rerata kadar asam urat darah tikus sebelum intervensi (K1) yaitu 3,28mg/dl,
dan setelahnya yaitu 3,87mg/dl (P1), 4,20mg/dl (P2) dan 5,03mg/dl (P3).
Didapatkan perbedaan bermakna antara P2 dengan K1 (p=0,005 ), P3 dengan K1
(p=0,000 ). Tidak ada perbedaan bermakna antara P1 dengan K1 (p=0,130 ).
Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna rerata kadar asam urat darah tikus yang
diberi kacang tanah dosis 2gr/200grBB, 4gr/200grBB dan yang tidak diberi kacang
tanah. Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna rerata asam darah tikus yang diberi
kacang tanah dosis 1gr/200grBB dan yang tidak diberi kacang tanah. Kata Kunci: Asam urat, hiperurisemia, purin, kacang tanah.

Background: The excessive uric acid levels in the body can increase the risk of
hyperuricemia. The formation of uric acid starts from the synthesis of purines which
produce inosine, adenine and guanine monophospate that will be degraded into uric
acid. Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) contain purines so if it is consumed in excess, it can increase blood uric acid levels.
Objective: The objective of this research is to know the difference in the average
blood uric acid levels of rats given peanuts at a dose of 1gr/200grBB, 2gr/200grBB,
4gr/200grBB and not given peanuts. Method: This research used experimental research with post test control group
design approach. The sample in this research used 28 rats that divided into 4 groups;
K1 were only given standard feed, P1 were given 1gr / 200grBB peanuts, P2 were
given 2gr / 200grBB peanuts and P3 were given 4gr / 200grBB peanuts in everyday
for 28 days. Then measuring the blood uric acid levels of rats.
Result: The average blood uric acid level of rats before intervention (K1) is
3,28mg/dl, and after intervention is 3,87mg/dl (P1), 4,20mg/dl (P2) and 5,03mg/dl
(P3). There is a significant difference between P2 and K1 (p=0,005 ), P3 and K1
(p=0,000 ). There is no a significant difference between P1 and K1 (p=0,130 ).
