Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe group to group exchange terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD N 6 Metro Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen Non-Equivalen Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 44 siswa kelas V SD N 6 Metro Utara. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Tes berupa soal pilihan jamak yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data berupa data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diproleh hasil diperoleh nilai = 2,21 > = 2,18, berarti Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pada penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe group to group exchange terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. The problem of this research was the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD N 6 Metro Utara. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of active group type group to group exchange learning strategies on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD N 6 Metro Utara. The type of research used was experimental research with experimental design of Non- Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were 44 grade V students of SD 6 Metro Utara. Sampling used saturated samples. The data collection techniques used test techniques. Tests in the form of multiple choice questions that have previously been analyzed for validity and reliability. The technique of analyzing data was quantitative data. Based on the hypothesis test obtained by the results obtained = 2,21 > = 2,18, meaning that Ha is accepted. The results of the research showed that there was the effect of active type group to group exchange learning strategy on social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students SD N 6 Metro Utara.
