N2  - This study aims to determine the performance of PT ABC based on the Balanced 
Scorecard in Mesuji Regency. The research method used in this study is a case 
study. The study was conducted using data from the 2015-2017 period at PT ABC 
to analyze financial perspectives, while for other perspectives it was done through 
the calculation of the results of interviews using a questionnaire. The population 
in this study are PT ABC customers and employees. While the samples are five
companies for customer respondents, and 60 people for employee respondents. 
Data collection research was conducted in January 2019. The result of the 
research shows that the overall performance of PT ABC is in a fairly good 
category. In a financial perspective, variables of return on investment and total 
assets turnover have shown good performance. For the customer perspective, it 
shows good performance by looking at variables of customer satisfaction and 
customer retention. In the perspective of internal business processes, it shows 
that conditions are still worse as the operating profit margin has decreased and 
the index "K" obtained exceeds the tolerance threshold. For the perspective of 
learning and growth, it shows a fairly good condition by looking at employee 
satisfaction scores and employee retention.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja PT ABC berbasis Balanced 
Scorecard di Kabupaten Mesuji. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada 
penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data 
periode tahun 2015-2017 pada PT ABC untuk menganalisis perspektif keuangan, 
sedangkan untuk perspektif lainnya dilakukan melalui perhitungan hasil 
wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 
pelanggan dan karyawan PT ABC, sedangkan sampel yang diambil masing?masing adalah 5 perusahaan untuk responden pelanggan, dan 60 orang untuk 
responden karyawan. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan 
Januari 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja PT ABC secara 
keseluruhan berada pada kategori cukup baik. Pada perspektif keuangan dengan 
variabel return on investment dan total assets turnover sudah menunjukkan 
kinerja yang baik. Untuk perspektif pelanggan, menunjukkan kinerja yang cukup 
baik dengan melihat variabel dari kepuasan pelanggan serta retensi pelanggan. 
Pada perspektif proses bisnis internal, menunjukkan kondisi yang masih buruk 
karena margin laba operasional mengalami penurunan dan indeks ?K? yang 
diperoleh melebihi ambang batas toleransi. Dari perspektif pembelajaran dan 
pertumbuhan menunjukan kondisi yang cukup baik dengan melihat skor kepuasan 
karyawan dan retensi karyawan.
