abstract: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar mata
pelajaran PKn siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas
dan hasil belajar PKn siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan konstruktivistik. Jenis
penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Alat
pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes formatif.
Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik nontes dan teknik tes. Teknik
analisis data berupa analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan konstruktivistik dapat
meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar PKn. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I
mendapat katagori “CukupAktif”, dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi “Aktif”.
Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I memiliki katagori “Tinggi” dan
meningkat padas iklus II menjadi “Sangat Tinggi”.

The problem in this research is the low activity and learning outcomes of students
Civics subjects. The purpose of this study is to improve the activities and learning
outcomes of Civics students through the application of constructivist approaches.
This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection tools
used in the form of observation sheets and formative test questions. Data
collection techniques were carried out using nontest and test techniques. Data
analysis techniques in the form of qualitative data analysis and quantitative data
analysis. The results show that the application of constructivist approaches can
improve civic learning activities and outcomes. Activities of students in the first
cycle got the category "Enough", and in the second cycle increased to "Active".
The average student learning outcomes in the first cycle has a category of "High"
and increased on cycle II to "Very High".
