N2  - The problem of this research was about a social interaction. This research aimed
to investigate the relationship between self-esteem and social interaction to
student of the X class SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year
2018/2019. The research method used a quantitative approach. The sample of this
research was 101 students taken by random sampling technique. Data collection
techniques used the scale of self-esteem and the scale of social interaction. The
data analysis technique applied product-moment correlation. The result of this
research showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and social
interaction with a ratio of r count = 0.330> rtable = 0.193, with significance level
p = 0.05 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The conclusion of this
research was there was a significant positive relationship between self-esteem and
social interaction.

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah interaksi sosial siswa. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harga diri dengan interaksi sosial
pada siswa kelas X SMA Al-azhar 3 Bandar lampung tahun ajaran 2018/2019.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian
sebanyak 252 siswa dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 101 siswa diambil
dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala
harga diri dan skala interaksi sosial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi
Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara
harga diri dengan interaksi sosial dengan nilai korelasi rhitung = 0,330 > rtabel =
0,193 taraf signifikasi p = 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan
hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara harga diri dan
interaksi sosial siswa.
