Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 49 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 49 orang responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test sparated varians yang diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taraf signifikan sebesar 0,58 dengan nilai thitung sebesar 2,13, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,02. Perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan (2,13 > 2,02) berarti Ha diterima. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model Cooperative Learining tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the significant effeck of the application of the cooperative learning model of teams games tournament toward the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class V SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used is non-equivalent control group design. The study population and sample amounted to 49 student. The instrument usedis a test question. Data analysis techniques use the t-test sparated varians statistical test which begins with a test of normality and homogeneity. The results of the study show that a significant level 0,58 with a calculated value of 2,13>2.02 means that is accepted. There is a significant effect on the implementation of cooperative learning models in the type of teams games tournament on learning outcomes.
