Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis reptil (ordo Squamata) pada hutan sekunder di Youth Camp Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman, Provinsi Lampung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada malam dan siang hari menggunakan metode Visual Encounter Survey (VES) dengan time constrained search. Pada setiap lokasi dilakukan tiga kali pengulangan dengan waktu tiga jam untuk setiap pengamatan, selanjutnya  data dianalisis menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman. Dari hasil pengamatan indeks keanekaragaman di habitat hutan sekunder sebesar 1,813, di habitat taman sebesar 0,692 dan di habitat sungai sebesar 1,659 yang menunjukkan bahwa  keanekaragaman reptil di wilayah ini termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan rendah. Nilai indeks kemerataan pada habitat hutan sekunder adalah 0,871; kebun 0,630 dan sungai 0,852. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga tipe habitat menunjukkan  keseragaman yang stabil dan tidak stabil. Nilai indeks kesamaan yang diperoleh cenderung kecil. Suhu dan kelembaban di habitat hutan sekunder berkisar antara 25,0°C - 27,1°C dan 80% – 84%; habitat kebun berkisar antara 26,0°C – 26,2°C  dan 79% - 90%; habitat sungai berkisar antara 25,4°C – 26,4°C dan 84% – 91%.Sedangkan intensitas cahaya pada ketiga lokasi yaitu 1.259 Lx – 4.852 Lx. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kondisi habitat di Youth Camp Tahura Wan Abdul  Rachman merupakan habitat yang cocok untuk reptil (ordo Squamata).         Ordo Squamata is an order that has the most members in animalbelonging to reptiles. Its existence is influenced by temperature and humidityfactors in secondary forest habitats. This study was conducted to determine thediversity of reptile species ordo Squamata at the Youth Camp Tahura Wan AbdulRachman, Lampung Province. Data collection was carried out at night and duringthe day using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method with a time-constrainedsearch. At each location, three repetitions were carried out with a time of threehours for each observation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using thediversity index. From the observation, the diversity index in secondary foreshabitat was 1.813, in garden habitat was 0.692 and in river habitat was 1.659indicating that reptile diversity in this area was in the medium and low categoriesEvenness index value in secondary forest habitat is 0.871; agriculture 0.630 andrivers 0.852. The value shows that the three habitat types show stable and unstableuniformity. The similarity index value obtained tends to be small. Thetemperature and humidity in the secondary forest habitat ranged from 25,0°C 27.1°C and 80% – 84%; agriculture habitats ranged from 26,0°C – 26.2°C and79% - 90%; river habitat ranged from 25.4°C – 26.4°C and 84 – 91. Meanwhilethe light intensity at three locations is 1,259 Lx – 4,852 Lx. Based on the resultof the study, the habitat conditions at the Youth Camp Tahura Wan AbdulRachman are suitable habitats for reptiles (ordo Squamata).
