%X Politik etis yang terjadi pada awal abad ke-19 dengan memperbaiki sistem pendidikan  di Hindia Belanda dengan memberi kesempatan bagi anak pribumi untuk mengenyam  pendidikan. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan politik etis dalam bidang pendidikan adalah  memberi kesejahteraan kepada rakyat Hindia Belanda dengan cara memberantas buta  huruf agar mereka dapat bekerja lebih layak. Keberadaan sekolah yang tidak  seimbang dengan keberadaan guru menjadi permasalahan baru di dunia pendidikan,  sehingga pemerintah melakukan beberapa upaya untuk menyelesaikan masalah  tersebut. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah penelitian yaitu, bagaimanakah  pengadaan guru untuk memenuhi program pendidikan pada masa Politik etis. Tujuan  penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengadaan guru bumiputera untuk memenuhi  program pendidikan pada masa politik etis. metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam  penelitian ini yaitu, metode penelitian sejarah, dengan teknik pengumpulan data  kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik  analisis data kualitatif. Hasil yang didapatkan penelitian mengenai pengadaan guru  bumiputera untuk memenuhi program pendidikan pada masa politik etis, pemerintah  berupaya dengan cara membangun sekolah guru, melatih guru bumiputera agar dapat  memenuhi kekurangan guru Belanda. The purpose of implementing ethical politics in the field of  education is to provide welfare to the people of the Dutch East Indies by eradicating  illiteracy so that they can work more properly. The existence of schools that are not  balanced with the presence of teachers is a new problem in the world of education, so  the government makes several efforts to solve the problem. This study has a research  problem formulation, namely, how is the procurement of teachers to fulfill  educational programs during the era of ethical politics. The purpose of this study was  to determine the procurement of Bumiputera teachers to fulfill educational programs  in the era of ethical politics. The research method used in this research is the  historical research method, with library data collection techniques and  documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis  techniques. The results obtained are research on the procurement of Bumiputera  teachers to fulfill educational programs during the ethical political era, the  government seeks to build teacher schools, train Bumiputera teachers in order to  meet the shortage of Dutch teachers.
