abstract: Paradigma pembangunan yang sedang berkembang saat ini adalah pertumbuhan
ekonomi yang diukur dengan pembangunan manusia, dilihat dengan tingkat
kualitas hidup manusia di tiap-tiap negara. Salah satu tolak ukur yang digunakan
dalam melihat kualitas hidup manusia adalah indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM)
yang diukur melalui kualitas tingkat kesehatan, pendidikan, dan ekonomi (daya
beli). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Indeks Pembangunan Manusia
terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Data yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder tahun 2005-2019. Variabel
yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, angka harapan hidup, rata-rata
lama sekolah dan daya beli. Analisis yang digunakan adalah model regresi linier
Ordinary Least Squere (OLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angka
harapan hidup berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan
ekonomi, rata-rata lama sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap
pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan daya beli berpengaruh negatif dan tidak
signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Secara keseluruhan komponen indeks
pembangunan manusia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.

The development paradigm that is currently developing is economic growth as measured
by human development, seen by the level of quality of human life in each country. One of
the benchmarks used in viewing the quality of human life is the human development index
(HDI) which is measured through the quality of health, education, and economic levels
(purchasing power). This research aims to analyze the Human Development Index on Economic
Growth in East Lampung Regency. The data used in this research is secondary data for the years
2005-2019. The variables used are economic growth, life expectancy, mean years of schoolingand
purchasing power. The analysis used is the Ordinary Least Squere (OLS) linear regression
model. The results show that life expectancy has a negative and significant effect on economic
growth, the mean years of schooling has a positive and significant effect on economic growth,
while purchasing power has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. Overall, the
components of the human development index have a significant effect on economic
growth.
