Kawasan TPA Bakung merupakan kawasan pemrosesan sampah akhir skala
besar yang berada di kota Bandar Lampung. Di lain dari sistem pemrosesan
sampah pada TPA Bakung belum lah baik, yang mana sistem pemrosesan yang
baik sangatlah relevan dengan konsep dari TPA itu sendiri agar TPA dapat
melakukan pengolahan sampah dengan baik dan menghilangkan kesan kumuh
terhadap kawasan TPA. Hal itu melatar belakangi Re-desain Kawasan TPA
Bakung dengan menerapkan Analogi Mekanik. Dalam mere-desain metode
yang digunakan adalah Execute Image Present Test Cycle, metode ini memiliki
artian menampilkan bentuk desain awal kawasan TPA Bakung dalam bentuk
analisa, lalu dilakukan evaluasi untuk memberikan informasi dan argumen
berupa tanggapan dan analisa. Setelah proses itu maka akan menghasilkan
desain baru dari Kawasan TPA Bakung sesuai dengan Analogi Mekanik, untuk
mendukung analogi mekanik sendiri akan diterapkan prinsip aritektur antara
lain, Respect for Site, Respect for User, Working with Climate, Conserving
Energy and High Performance Building. Redesain Kawasan TPA Bakung
pendekatan arsitektur mekanik merupakan perancangan yang bertujuan untuk
menghadirkan fasilitas pemrosesan akhir sampah dengan fasilitas pengolahan
pembakaran, daur ulang, dan komposting yang memiliki tujuan untuk
menyelesaikan masalah penumpukan sampah di kota Bandar Lampung, selain
itu re-desain juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas edukasi-rekreasi yang bertujuan
untuk memberi pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang pengolahan sampah.

?Kawasan TPA Bakung? is a large waste processin area wich is in the city of
Bandar Lampung. In the others news, the waste disposal system at Bakung
landfill is not good enough, which is the applicattion of good system of waste
disposal is very relevant with the ?Kawasan TPA Bakung?s? concept it?s self
so the waste disposal can do waste processing properly and also get rid of slum
impresion in landfill area. That thing is the background of the ? Kawasan TPA
Bakung?s redesign with mevhanical architectural analogy approach. In
redesigning the method that the writter used is Execute Image Present Test
Cycle, this method has a meaning to showing the initial design ofBakung?s
landfill area in the form of analysis, then evaluate to provide information and
arguments in form of responses and analysis. After that process it will produce
a new design of Bakung?s landfill area according to mechanical analogy, to
support the mechanical analogy itself, architectural prinsiples will be applied,
including, Respect for Site, Respect for User, Working with Climate,
Conserving Energy and High Performance Bulidning. The redesign of the
?Kawasan TPA Bakung? with mechanical architectural approach is a design
that aims to present a final waste processing facility with processing facilities
for incineration, recycling, and composting which has the aim of solving the
problem of waste accumulation in the city of bandar lampung, besides the
redesign is also equipped with educational-recreational facilities which aims to
provide an understanding to the public about waste management
