SD NEGERI GUGUS RA KARTINI

%X Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Gugus R.A Kartini Metro Timur. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan kemampuan komunikasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian ex post facto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 177 orang peserta didik. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 125 orang peserta didik menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket dengan skala Likert, yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan kemampuan komunikasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,76 berada pada taraf ?Kuat?.

The problem of this research is the low critical thinking skill of students of SD Negeri Gugus R.A Kartini Metro Timur. This study aims to describe and analyze the positive and significant relationship between teacher professional competence and communication skills with critical thinking skills. The type of research is quantitative with ex post facto correlation research method. The population is 177 students. The sample used is 125 students by using probability sampling tehnique. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert, which was previously tested for valid and reliable. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between teacher professional competence and communication skills with critical thinking skills, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.76 at the "Strong" level.
