Perkembangan\r\nkesenian yang terjadi ini tidak diimbangi dengan fasilitas kesenian yang\r\nbisa mewadahi kreatifitas mereka. Meliputi seni musik, seni teater, dan\r\nseni tari yang diwadahi dengan gedung pertunjukan serta ragam seni dua\r\ndimensi yaitu karya seni lukis kontemporer dan seni tiga dimensi yang\r\nakan wadahi pada ruang galeri serta gedung auditorium. sebagai salah\r\nsatu bidang yang memiliki peran penting bagi kehidupan sosial, ekonomi,\r\ndan budaya masyarakat khususnya di bidang kesenian di Kota Bandar\r\nLampung, maka perlu adanya wadah yang mampu menfasilitasi\r\nkebutuhan masyarakat dalam melakukan sosialisasi dalam berkesenian.\r\nperforming art space ataupun sebagai tempat pertunjukan seni yang lebih\r\ndinamis sebagai sarana budaya sekaligus sarana hiburan bagi para\r\npengunjung.
