Investor sebelum melakukan investasi di bursa saham khususnya Bursa Efek Indonesia, akan mengumpulkan sebanyak mungkin informasi yang berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi tersebut. Tujuan Penelitian ini membuktikan secara empiris mengenai informasi laporan keuangan dengan return saham  PT Indosat (persero) Tbk di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2008-2013.      Metode Penelitian adalah penelitian asosiatif analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji pengaruh variabel (X) dan (Y).    Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa Informasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan  signifikan terhadap return saham. Dengan hasil ini, perusahaan diharapkan dapat mengelola asset-asset yang dimilikinya dengan lebih efektif untuk menunjang kegiatan  penjualannya. Sehingga penjualan akan meningkat, pendapatan yang diperoleh perusahaan menjadi besar, manajemen juga harus bisa menekan biaya produksi dengan maksimal, sehingga keuntungan yang diperoleh besar dan pertumbuhan laba akan meningkat.    Kata Kunci : Informasi Laporan Keuangan,  Nilai Laba Usaha,  Nilai Return    ABSTRAK    EFFECT OF INFORMATION ON FINANCIAL STATEMENTS  RETURN OF STOCK IN PT INDOSAT ( PERSERO) Tbk  IN BURSA EFFECT INDONESIA 2008-2013    Oleh:  RIA AMALIA BENAZIR    In this era of free trade, international finance and mobility changes the faster it will affect all aspects of life, especially in the field of trade industry. Investors before investing in the stock market, especially the Indonesian Stock Exchange, will gather as much information that is useful in making the investment decision. The purpose of this study was to prove empirically the financial statement information to return the shares of PT Indosat (Persero) Tbk in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2008-2013.    Methods The study was a research associative analysis is quantitative analysis with a simple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of variable (X) and (Y).    Hypothesis test results showed that the financial information is positive and significant effect on stock returns. With this result, the company is expected to manage its assets more effectively to support sales activities. So that sales will increase, income derived by an enterprise becomes large, the management should also be able to reduce the cost of production to the maximum, so that the large profits and profit growth will increase.
