Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan smartphone dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas V SD yaitu berada pada taraf ?kuat?. Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, penggunaan smartphone. The problem in this research is the low learning motivation of elementary school students. This study aims to determine the relationship between smartphone use and the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students. The research method used is ex-post facto correlation. The population was 190 students and the research sample was 66 students. The sampling technique used is proporsionate stratified random sampling. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire with a likert scale was tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the use of smartphones and the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students, which was at the "strong" level.
