"Bangunan pelimpah (spillway) merupakan struktur hidraulik yang keberadaannya\r\nsangat penting karena dibangun untuk melepaskan kelebihan (Surplus) air atau\r\ndebit banjir yang tidak dapat ditampung di dalam bendungan. kapasitas spillway\r\nyang tidak cukup dalam mengalihkan debit banjir bisa menyebabkan runtuhnya\r\nbendungan.\r\nAnalisis hidrolika penelitian ini menggunakan desain bangunan pelimpah (Stepped\r\nmodified Spillway) dengan model fisik 2-D dan sedimen yang digunakan adalah\r\npasir dengan diameter seragam yaitu 1,18 mm lolos ayakan nomor 16 dan tertahan\r\npada ayakan ukuran 0,18 mm. Penelitian ini dilakukan 5 kali pengamatan setiap\r\nketinggian muka air di hulu selama 25 menit.\r\nBerdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat perbedaan Kedalaman gerusan antara hasil\r\npengamatan di laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode Lacey, Wu,dan\r\nVeronesse. Nilai yang diperoleh dan menunjukan bahwa metode Lacey yang\r\nmendekati hasil laboratorium adalah nilai gerusan maksimum (dsmax) terjadi pada\r\nketinggian air di hulu (H0) 3 cm sebesar 0,0532 m perhitungan Lacey sedangkan\r\npada pengamatan laboratorium di dapat nilai gerusan maksimum (Δds) sebesar\r\n0,076 m. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya keseimbangan yang telah tercapai. Semakin\r\ndalam gerusan lokal yang terjadi maka semakin banyak volume sedimen yang\r\nterbawa dibagian hilir pelimpah.\r\n\r\nKata kunci : Pelimpah stepped modified spillway, gerusan lokal, sedimen.\r\nSpillway is a hydraulic structure whose existence is very important because it is\r\nbuilt to release excess water or flood discharge that cannot be accommodated in the\r\ndam. Insufficient spillway capacity in diverting flood discharge can cause the dam\r\nto collapse.\r\nThe hydraulics analysis of this study used a spillway design (Stepped modified\r\nSpillway) with a 2-D physical model and the sediment used was sand with a uniform\r\ndiameter of 1.18 mm which passed sieve number 16 and was retained on a 0.18 mm\r\nsieve. This research was carried out 5 times for every 25 minutes of upstream water\r\nlevel observations.\r\nBased on the results of the analysis, there are differences in the scour depth between\r\nthe observations in the laboratory using the Lacey, Wu, and Veronesse methods.\r\nThe value obtained and shows that the Lacey method which is close to the\r\nlaboratory results is the maximum scour value (dsmax) that occurs at the water level\r\nupstream (H0) 3 cm of 0.0532 m Lacey's calculation, while in laboratory\r\nobservations the maximum scour value (Δds) of 0.076 m. This is because a balance\r\nhas been achieved.
