Upaya dalam mengurangi kasus\r\nmalaria ialah dengan cara pengendalian vektor menggunakan mikroorganisme.\r\nStreptomyces sp. dan Serratia marcescens adalah kandidat mikroorganisme yang\r\nmemiliki potensi dijadikan sebagai larvasida. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk\r\nmengetahui pengaruh ekstrak metabolit sekunder Streptomyces sp. strain AB8 dan\r\nS. marcescens strain MBC1 pada berbagai konsentrasi (125, 250, 500, 1000 ppm)\r\ndan nilai toksisitas ekstrak metabolit sekunder Streptomyces sp. strain AB8 dan S.\r\nmarcescens strain MBC1 sebagai larvasida Anopheles sp.. Penelitian dilakukan\r\nsecara eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian Faktorial Blok (2x6) terdiri dari\r\ndua faktor yaitu 2 jenis bakteri dan 6 perlakuan. Konsentrasi yang digunakan yaitu\r\n125, 250, 500, dan 1.000 ppm ekstrak metabolit sekunder Streptomyces sp. strain\r\nAB8 dan S. marcescens strain MBC1 dengan kontrol positif menggunakan 1 %\r\nTemefos (Abate) serta kontrol negatif menggunakan air yang diperoleh dari\r\ntempat perindukan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali dan setiap unit\r\npercobaan membutuhkan 20 ekor larva Anopheles sp. instar III. Pengamatan\r\nterhadap jumlah kematian larva selama 3-72 jam. Data dikoreksi menggunakan\r\nrumus Abbot, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)\r\ndengan uji lanjut BNT, α = 5% serta analisis probit untuk mengetahui nilai LC50\r\ndan LC90. Hasil analisis ANOVA menunjukan Ekstrak metabolit sekunder S.\r\nmarcescens strain MBC1 pada konsentrasi 250 dan 500 ppm dan Streptomyces sp.\r\nstrain AB8 pada konsentrasi 1.000 ppm memiliki pengaruh yang sama, sehingga\r\nlebih baik digunakan Ekstrak S. marcescens strain MBC1 dengan konsentrasi 250\r\nppm. Hasil analisis probit diketahui ekstrak S. marcescens strain MBC1 memiliki\r\ndaya toksik yang lebih tinggi pada nilai LC50 (1,304 ppm) dan LC90 (138,147\r\nppm) dibandingkan Streptomyces sp. strain AB8 dengan nilai LC50 (327,806 ppm)\r\ndan LC90 (654,328 ppm), sehingga pada penelitian ini ekstrak S. marcescens strain\r\nMBC1 lebih efektif dijadikan sebagai larvasida Anopheles sp. instar III.\r\nKata Kunci: Larvasida, Larva Anopheles sp., Malaria, Serratia marcescens,\r\n\r\nStreptomyces sp.\r\n\r\niii\r\n\r\nABSTRACT\r\n\r\nTOXICITY OF SECONDARY METABOLITES OF STREPTOMYCES SP.\r\nSTRAIN AB8 AND SERRATIA MARCESCENS STRAIN MBC1\r\n\r\nAGAINST ANOPHELES SP.\r\n\r\nBy\r\n\r\nMesy Miranda AR\r\n\r\nMalaria is a disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite through the Anopheles sp.\r\nfemale. Efforts to reduce malaria cases are vector control using microorganisms.\r\nStreptomyces sp. and Serratia marcescens are candidate microorganisms that have\r\nthe potential to be used as larvicides. The purpose of this study was to determine\r\nthe effect of the secondary metabolite extract of Streptomyces sp. strains AB8 and\r\nS. marcescens strain MBC1 at various concentrations (125, 250, 500, 1000 ppm)\r\nand the toxicity value of the secondary metabolite extract of Streptomyces sp.\r\nstrain AB8 and S. marcescens strain MBC1 as larvicides of Anopheles sp. The\r\nconcentrations used were 125, 250, 500, and 1,000 ppm secondary metabolite\r\nextract of Streptomyces sp. strain AB8 and S. marcescens strain MBC1 with\r\npositive control using 1% Temefos (Abate) and negative control using water\r\nobtained from the broodstock. Each treatment was repeated 4 times and each\r\nexperimental unit required 20 larvae of Anopheles sp. instar III. Observation of\r\nthe number of larval deaths for 3-72 hours. The data were corrected using Abbot's\r\nformula, then analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with further test of\r\nBNT, = 5% and probit analysis to determine the values of LC50 and LC90. The\r\nresults of ANOVA analysis showed that the secondary metabolite extract of S.\r\nmarcescens strain MBC1 at concentrations of 250 and 500 ppm and Streptomyces\r\nsp. strain AB8 at a concentration of 1,000 ppm had the same effect, so it is better\r\nto use the extract of S. marcescens strain MBC1 with a concentration of 250 ppm.\r\nThe results of probit analysis showed that the extract of S. marcescens strain\r\nMBC1 had a higher toxicity at the values of LC50 (1,304 ppm) and LC90 (138,147\r\nppm) than Streptomyces sp. strain AB8 with values of LC50 (327.806 ppm) and\r\nLC90 (654.328 ppm), so that in this study the extract of S. marcescens strain\r\nMBC1 was more effective as a larvacide of Anopheles sp. instar III.\r\n\r\nKeywords: Larvicides, Anopheles sp. larvae, Malaria, Serratia marcescens,\r\n\r\nStreptomyces sp."^^ .
