        abstract = {Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah bagaimana pelafalan bunyi konsonan
bahasa Indonesia mahasiswa penutur bahasa Vietnam. Oleh karena itu, tujuan
penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan pelafalan bunyi konsonan bahasa Indonesia
mahasiswa penutur bahasa Vietnam dan implikasi hasil penelitian ini terhadap
pembelajaran BIPA untuk keterampilan berbicara.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif.
Sumber data ini ialah mahasiswa penutur bahasa Vietnam yang sedang mengikuti
kuliah di Jurusan Studi Indonesia, Fakultas Studi Oriental, Ho Chi Minh City
University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNUHCM-USSH). Data penelitian
ini berupa pelafalan bunyi konsonan bahasa Indonesia mahasiswa penutur bahasa
Vietnam. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dengan instrumen
penelitian yang berupa tes.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelafalan bunyi konsonan bahasa
Indonesia mahasiswa penutur bahasa Vietnam ada yang sesuai dengan artikulasi
bahasa Indonesia dan ada yang tidak sesuai dengan artikulasi bahasa Indonesia.
Hasil penelitian ini diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran BIPA, khususnya
pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Indonesia dengan Kompetensi Dasar mampu
menyampaikan berita yang diperoleh dari teks sebagai bahan ancangan materi ajar.

The problem in this research is how to pronounce the Indonesian consonant
sounds of Vietnamese-speaking students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to

describe the pronunciation of Indonesian consonant sounds of Vietnamese-
speaking students and the implications of the results of this study on BIPA learning

for speaking skills.
The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data
sources are the Vietnamese-speaking students who are currently studying at the
Department of Indonesian Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Ho Chi Minh City
University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNUHCM-USSH). This data

research is the pronunciation of Indonesian consonant sounds of Vietnamese-
speaking students. Data collection techniques use observation with a research

instrument in the form of tests.
The results of this research show that the Indonesian consonant sounds
pronunciation of Vietnamese-speaking students have some that are in accordance
with the Indonesian articulation and some that are not in accordance with the
Indonesian articulation. The results of this study are implied in BIPA learning,
especially studying to speak Indonesian with Basic Competencies able to convey
news obtained from texts as a design of teaching materials.
