N2  - Data sensor tipe II merupakan data yang diperoleh dengan penyensoran dimana
pengamatan akan dihentikan hingga sampel terkecil mengalami kegagalan
dalam sampel acak berukuran dengan . Distribusi Rayleigh
merupakan distribusi peluang peubah acak kontinu yang biasa digunakan pada
data kelangsungan hidup. Penelitian ini akan membahas pendugaan parameter
distribusi Rayleigh pada data sensor tipe II menggunakan metode maximum
likelihood dan Bayes dengan prior Eksponensial. Kedua metode yang digunakan
menghasilkan penduga yang berbeda. Kajian secara analitik dan empiris
menunjukkan bahwa penduga ?

merupakan penduga yang bias. Namun

menjadi penduga yang tak bias asimtotik bagi .
Secara empiris, ditunjukkan bahwa mean square error kedua penduga merupakan

Type II censoring data is data obtained through the censoring whereby the
observation is stopped until the smallest sample fails in a random sample of
items . The Rayleigh distribution is a continuous random variable
probability distribution that is commonly used in survival data. This research will
discuss the estimation of Rayleigh distribution parameters on type II censoring
data using the maximum likelihood and Bayes methods with prior Exponential.
The two methods used produced different estimators. Analytical and empirical
studies shown that estimator ?

are biased estimators. However when
, they are asymptotically unbiased. Empirically, it is shown that the mean
square error of both estimators are consistent when , while they become
inconsistent estimators when .
