abstract: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar dalam diri siswa.
Rumusana masalah penelitian adalah “hubungan antara pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap
motivasi belajar siswa”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Apakah ada
hubungan antara pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI di MA
YAMSU Balik Bukit Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian
kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah skala model likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
terdapat hubungan yang sangat rendah antara motivasi belajar dengan perilaku pergaulan
teman sebaya siswa kelas XI di MA YAMSU Balik Bukit Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.
Kata kunci : pergaulan teman sebaya, motivasi belajar, bimbingan dan konseling.
The problem in this research is the low motivation to learn in students. The formulation of the
research problem is "the relationship between peer relationships and student learning
motivation". The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between
peer association and the learning motivation of class XI students at MA YAMSU Balik Bukit
in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research method is quantitative research. The research
subjects were 80 students. The data collection technique used in this study was the Likert
model scale. The results showed that there was a very low relationship between learning
motivation and peer behavior of class XI students at MA YAMSU Balik Bukit in the
2019/2020 academic year.
